What surfaces are these compatible with?
For an ultra-durable, strong bond that’s still removable, apply to clean, dry, and smooth surfaces. They are perfect for Medela or Dr. Brown’s bottles, Mason jars, Tupperware, and storage containers. Please note: They are not for use on fabric, rubber, or silicone surfaces.
Can I use a regular permanent marker or dry-erase pen?
We recommend using the pencil that’s included with every write-on label purchase. You can use a permanent marker if you want the text to stay longer, but you won't be able to wipe it off as easily. Dry-erase markers tend to smudge too easily for kitchen or daycare use. We highly recommend using the included Hydro Pencil - it provides the perfect balance of durability and "wipe-clean" convenience.
Do these work on curved or textured surfaces?
Our labels are flexible and work great on curved surfaces! They wrap perfectly around round spice jars, tapered baby bottles, and curved storage tubs. For the best "forever bond," we recommend sticking to smooth surfaces (glass, metal, or hard plastic) rather than heavily textured "pebbled" plastic or silicone, which can prevent the adhesive from creating a full seal.
Are these labels PFAS-free and non-toxic?
Your family’s safety is our priority! Our write-on labels are manufactured without the use of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), and any ink is non-toxic. No, we do not recommend using our reusable write-ons for allergy alerts or medication tracking, as the details could be wiped away before they are needed.
